The Crystal Tea Room

The Crystal Tea Room is Philadelphia's largest event space, located in the historic Wanamaker building in Center City. The Crystal Tea Room is a beautiful area with a long history. Their hand-carved columns and gleaming crystal chandelier are reminiscent of the Tea Room's opulence.

The Crystal Tea Room, with a capacity of 900 guests, provides a beautiful setting for large-scale weddings. In the atrium, a magnificent conservatory with fountains and lush plant life, guests are welcomed before proceeding to the ballroom. Elegant chandeliers and a white dance floor create a classy and timeless ambiance in this immaculately designed venue. Couples who wish to add their own personal touch to their wedding day can choose from a variety of personalized decoration alternatives.

Finley Catering, a local family-run business founded by Steve Finley in 1976, provides all meal options at the Crystal Tea Room.

One of the great ballrooms in the city of Philadelphia and the home of Miguel, maitre d' extraordinaire. There's plenty of room for your guests and also several places to make beautiful images without having to leave the venue if you don't want to. It's always a pleasure to work at the Crystal Tea Room!

Tip:

If you want the classic Broad Street shot with City Hall in the background, consider waiting until night time to take that image. It's a short walk out to the location and a nice break for my couples to have a few quiet minutes away from the chaos of the day and reconnect for a beautiful image! The resulting long exposure image creates a visually stunning image that you just can't get during the day.
