Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks🌲🐻⛰️ Fun fact: #yellowstone wasn’t only the first national park in the U.S., but the first in the world! The creation of Yellowstone in 1872 started a worldwide national park movement. Today over 1,200 parks exist in over 100 countries. For me, this was a trip that made me really appreciate and be grateful for our National Park system here in the U.S. The foresight that Presidents Roosevelt and Wilson had to put aside lands “for the benefit and enjoyment of the people” shouldn’t be overlooked or taken for granted. We are blessed to have parks with modern infrastructures that make it incredibly easy to explore these beautiful vast lands and wildlife. These two parks, which are conveniently joined by a north/south highway in northwestern Wyoming, offer breathtaking views at almost every turn. I spent an unforgettable summer week exploring both parks and the Teton Village/Jackson Hole areas as well.
