The Downtown Club
Venue Information
The Downtown Club is another beautiful and perfectly located venue by Cescaphe! Each room in this venue has a unique look and character which makes for interesting, creative images.
Tip: if you’re having a DJ, consider positioning your Sweetheart table in the back of the room instead of up front (as soon as you walk in the ballroom doors). This allows for more space on the dancefloor and no one will be in the background of your photos! This particular setup will not work if you’re having a band however.

Jess and Jon had an absolutely beautiful, scenic fall day for their Cescaphe Waterworks Wedding in October. Everything was planned to perfection with the getting ready, portrait and ceremony/reception locations all with a mile of each other! A big thank you to Jess and Jon for trusting us to capture this amazing time in their lives and for being such …
I vividly remember the first time I spoke with Melissa as I was on vacation in Greece when she called. We spoke about her wedding at the Cescaphe Ballroom, her fiance Jared, traveling, her career in law and how important her family was to her. She was super easy to talk to and had a very warm and friendly personality. …
Gabriella and Nick’s beautiful summer wedding at Cescaphe’s Tendenza was everything I knew it would be! From the moment we got together for their engagement session you could see how this couple was all about truly celebrating what they have in each other. We had such a great time that night and I was really looking forward to spending their …
Waiman and Ronnie’s Downtown Club Wedding was a perfect mix of modern and traditional with a crazy party attached at the end! I loved that they got ready in their childhood homes with their families along side them. I also loved the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony that occurred after their Christian ceremony. And then there were the dragons dancing during …
You may think that a couple from Atlanta, Georgia wouldn’t want a winter wedding in Philadelphia. You would also think that when the wedding day arrives and it’s 20 degrees and snowing like crazy that they wouldn’t want to go outside for pictures. Well, I can say that I was WAAAY wrong! When I called Allison the morning of the …
I met Fran and Zack at their friends Jenna and Eric’s Union Trust wedding that I photographed and instantly clicked with both of them. They had let me know that they were recently engaged and that they would be in touch in the near future to chat about their wedding at Waterworks Philadelphia Wedding. Fast forward about a year and …
Winter weddings can be a huge cause for stress due to the fear of the unknown weather that can occur. Will it be cold? Windy and cold? Snow or rain? Will we need to shoot our portraits inside? Luckily for Courtney and John’s Cescaphe Philadelphia Wedding it was just a typical cold winter day, nothing crazy and the wedding day …
This was a great day spent with an awesome couple! Angelisa and Joe had a clear vision of what they wanted their Cescaphe Ballroom wedding day to be: Classic, Formal, Elegant and lots of time with their very close families and friends. We began the day at the Renaissance Hotel in Old City Philadelphia while the guys got ready at …
Stacey and Patrick designed their amazing Tendenza Wedding by taking standard traditions and making them their own! Stacey didn’t bother with “something old, something new etc. Instead she and her groom incorporated “handfasting” into their non-traditional ceremony, adapting an old celtic tradition in which the couple’s hands are bound together with a ribbon as public declaration of their commitment to …
I had such a great time in NYC with Danielle and Frank for their engagement session the month before their late March wedding and was really looking forward to spending their wedding day at The Downtown Club with them. With their easy going personalities and they way they described their family and friends to me, I couldn’t help but look …
Christine and Jeff were as calm and cool as you could hope for on a hot, humid July afternoon for their Vie Philadelphia Wedding. After some quick getting ready photos, we met in Rittenhouse Square for the first look and bridal party photos. While I was setting up a shot, I noticed that Christine had a bag with a bunch …
You know how there are some people you meet in life that you immediately feel comfortable with? Well, in Pat and Dana’s case, I not only felt that way about them but both of their families as well. You won’t find two nicer, FUN, easier to get along with…I could continue with a lot of positive adjectives here but suffice …
