I had such a great time in NYC with Danielle and Frank for their engagement session the month before their late March wedding and was really looking forward to spending their wedding day at The Downtown Club with them. With their easy going personalities and they way they described their family and friends to me, I couldn't help but look forward to it!
Getting ready took place at Hotel Monaco in Old City which is a perfect location for events taking place in that section of the city. Not only are you a couple of blocks from several beautiful venues but you have access to dozens of gorgeous locations to make images! While the girls were getting ready, we discovered that Danielle's veil never made it into her bags when she picked up her dress...ugh! Danielle of course was disappointed but didn't let it get her down. I knew of a local bridal shop around the corner of Hotel Monaco and thankfully they were able to supply Danielle with a beautiful at the eleventh hour! Thanks very much to the girls at Philly Bride for coming through in a pinch!
Danielle and Frank had their first look in picturesque Washington Square Park, followed by a short walk around Old City to make some additional images. We met back the bridal party back at the park for some individual and group photos with our Bride and Groom before heading up the street to the Downtown Club for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony was Interfaith (Jewish and Catholic) and the priest and rabbi made the Ketubah signing and ceremony a lot of fun! These two worked so well together and had everyone laughing and enjoying the proceedings.
We finished out the evening with great food, beautiful words for Danielle and Frank from family and friends AND an appearance by the Mummers! It was funny looking at the faces of the many guests that were from New York because they really had no idea what the Mummers are!
Thanks so much to the Wolson and DiAntonio families for having us join you for this very special day in your lives!!
