Christine and Jeff were as calm and cool as you could hope for on a hot, humid July afternoon for their Vie Philadelphia Wedding. After some quick getting ready photos, we met in Rittenhouse Square for the first look and bridal party photos. While I was setting up a shot, I noticed that Christine had a bag with a bunch of books and props in it. Props for photos? I get that, but books? Well, as it turns out, our groom is a huge fan of the Harry Potter series and Christine wanted to poke fun at his love of H.P. by getting some photos of the bridal party "reading" some of Jeff's favorite books....I like it!

Once we finished in Rittenhouse Square, our bride and groom wanted the classic shot out in front of City Hall. I suggested that while we were there we take advantage of the beautiful light that enters underneath City Hall off Broad Street. I'm glad we did...we took some gorgeous images there! We then traveled up Broad St. to Vie for the ceremony and reception. As they always do, the staff at Vie did an amazing job creating a very relaxed, elegant atmosphere while being very accommodating to everyone.
