Ballroom at Ellis Preserve

The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve is yet another beautiful venue from Finley catering. What makes this property interesting to me is its suburban location. Most of the grand ballrooms are located in the city and what I love about this venue is that you have rolling hills and some wide open spaces within minutes of the property. I like that ballroom/out in nature combo.

The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve is built in a grand Greek revival style. This historic wedding venue in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, features towering columns indoors and out. The facility is named for a local business magnate, Charles Ellis, and was completed in 1932. It is conveniently located in Delaware County with easy access to Route 3 and Route 476.

You may use the grounds for an outdoor wedding ceremony or cocktail hour. In contrast, the ballroom can be used for dinner and the reception. The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve can comfortably seat up to 250 people. It includes a bridal suite on the premises that is ready for use by the wedding party before the event begins. You may hold all of your wedding ceremonies at once. The venue can also host your engagement party, bridal shower, and rehearsal dinner, in addition to your wedding ceremony and reception.

Tip

If you plan on getting ready at Ballroom at Ellis Preserve, it's important to note that interior of the venue outside of the bridal suite is not available for photos. The outside grounds are beautiful and always available to you before your ceremony/reception.
