One fine St. Patrick’s Day weekend, Jodi and Patrick’s friends set them up on a blind date. The couple who introduced them ended up getting into a huge fight that night, so they had to spend the whole evening together. After that, they exchanged numbers and talked on the phone for a few weeks leading them to set up their formal first date. Jodi and Patrick’s whirlwind romance lead them to spend every weekend together for the next three years before moving in together.
Patrick’s personality and dance moves have made Jodi fall head over heels. They always have so much fun together, whether going out or just sitting on the couch. He makes any situation, uncomfortable or not, enjoyable. His honesty and respect towards her are a breath of fresh air. She has never felt so loved, protected and cherished in all her life.
Jodi realized that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him since the first time he said, “I love you.” That time, they were in the Hoboken train station, ready to go out for the night and were having a good moment when he confessed his feelings.
The proposal:
Patrick proposed on the porch of her beach house. It was a memorable place for them where they had their first date and spent multiple summers. Jodi said yes of course and was looking forward to walking down the aisle and celebrating the occasion with family and friends at the reception.
