Tara and Dan’s story began at the start of 2020, just before the world changed. They matched on Tinder while they were both living in Manayunk, and what started as a local connection quickly grew into something steady, fun, and lasting. Since then, their relationship has been shaped by shared adventures, open communication, and the kind of friendship that makes everyday life better.
Together, they love cheering on the Eagles and all Philly sports, skiing and snowboarding, going to the beach, traveling, spending time at the lake house, trying new restaurants, and finding activities they can enjoy side by side. Golf is one of Dan’s interests, and Tara is hoping to learn, which says a lot about the way they approach life together: with humor, curiosity, and a willingness to meet each other where they are. They balance each other well, make each other laugh, support each other through exciting and difficult seasons, and always move forward as a team.
Dan proposed in Rittenhouse Park before dinner reservations at Barclay Prime. He planned the route so they would walk through the park on the way to dinner, with a specific spot chosen and a college friend ready to photograph the moment. Tara was completely surprised, shocked, and excited all at once. For their Center City engagement session, they wanted images that felt connected to Philadelphia, from City Hall and Old City to skyline views and other familiar places that reflect the city where so much of their story has unfolded.
