The Crystal Tea Room
Venue Information
One of the great ballrooms in the city of Philadelphia and the home of Miguel, maitre d’ extraordinaire. There’s plenty of room for your guests and also several places to make beautiful images without having to leave the venue if you don’t want to. It’s always a pleasure to work at the Crystal Tea Room!
Tip: If you want the classic Broad Street shot with City Hall in the background, consider waiting until night time to take that image. It’s a short walk out to the location and a nice break for my couples to have a few quiet minutes away from the chaos of the day and reconnect for a beautiful image! The resulting long exposure image creates a visually stunning image that you just can’t get during the day.

Jaime and Adam had a plan in mind for their Center City Philadelphia Wedding at the Crystal Tea Room: Don’t avoid the obvious! Since they were getting ready at The Loews Hotel (right around the corner from the Tea Room and across from City Hall) they told me that they just wanted to walk around the area and make all …

It seemed like years since I had seen Christina and Chris when we got together for their Ben Franklin Ballroom Wedding recently. It had been 10 months since we had met in Lewes Delaware for their engagement session and I was really looking forward to seeing them. A dapper military man and his bride in a Pnina Tornai dress? Their ceremony at one of my favorite churches in Philly? Add in a reception at the beautiful Crystal Tea Room in Center City? Jenna and Eric are crazy about each other! So crazy about each other that they didn’t bat an eye at the thought of being outside for 2 hours before their Union Trust Wedding in the 93 degree, hair curling summer humidity that mother nature gave us last week! As you’ll see, they just love being together no matter what the …
I wish I could put into words how much I loved working with Sarah, David and their family and friends….it was an incredible day. Only fifteen hours after six inches of snow fell in Philadelphia, we were blessed with a fifty degree day to celebrate with the new Mr. and Mrs. Reinke. Sarah and David decided to keep things traditional …
