Melissa and Stephen met on a very late night out in the Center City. They had no mutual friends, and no one telling them to meet at this place together. They both felt it was the right place at the right time. And from that night on, they have spoken every day since.
They both love the outdoors. Stephen is a big golfer, and Melissa enjoys relaxing in nature. They often spend a lot of time up the mountains during the summer while rooting for the 76ers during the winter. Melissa and Stephen enjoy relaxing nights watching documentaries or movies while snuggling their dog.
Their relationship works well because of their common mindset on finding solutions. One of the things that makes their relationship so special is that they are always there for each other when one of them is feeling off-balance. Stephen is the perfect person to balance out Melissa's high-strung nature, and she is always able to calm him down when he gets too impulsive.
As a result, they are able to bring out the best in each other and are better able to meet the challenges of life together.

The Proposal:
Stephen proposed to Melissa at Cecil Creek Farm in New Jersey. He told her that they were going to dinner with his family at this venue they had attended multiple times before. He said that they were getting there early to have drinks before dinner.
When he walked Melissa behind the restaurant to a long, narrow greenhouse. She though that this is a weird place to get drinks, but just as he opened the door to a gorgeous setup, she saw lanterns and flowers, and a hired a photographer. It was a beautiful night and the couple did end up having dinner with their family.
Melissa had been expecting a proposal for months, but she had no idea it was going to happen that night. His 7-year-old niece and 4-year-old nephew even kept it a secret from her! When he finally popped the question, she was ecstatic. He did an amazing job and she couldn't have asked for anything more. It was the perfect proposal and she said yes without hesitation!
