Alyssa and Aaron first met on a dating app called Hinge, and eventually finding an instant connection that blossomed into love within moments. Since then, they've been together for more than a year. Their bond solidified over shared passions, especially their love for family, a penchant for laughter, and a mutual interest in sports, particularly fantasy football.
What makes their relationship work so well is their seamless compatibility. They rarely argue, instead, they spend their days laughing together, understanding each other deeply and enjoying each other's company.
The Proposal:
Aaron proposed to Alyssa on a beautiful August day at Sea Bright Beach in New Jersey. Using his aunt's private beach access, he surprised her by attaching the engagement ring to their beloved dog Yogi's collar. While she anticipated the proposal, Aaron's inclusion of Yogi made it a heartwarming surprise, showing his thoughtful nature and understanding of her attachment to their furry companion.
The choice of Sea Bright held significance for the couple, as they both love the Jersey shore. Their first date was in the Highlands, and they often visit Manasquan Beach. As a nod to their shared memories, they had their engagement shoot in Asbury Park, and they're planning to tie the knot in Point Pleasant Beach.
