Wedding at Loews Hotel in Philadelphia | Alissa & Aidan

Alissa and Aidan’s story began in 2017 at Temple University, inside a room most people would not associate with romance: the physics club. Physics was a small major, which made it all the more surprising that they had never crossed paths before. That first meeting led to shared seats in class, long afternoons at the library, and a steady routine of solving problem sets side by side. By January 2018, friendship had turned into something deeper. After graduation, their relationship faced its biggest test. Aidan moved to Nashville for graduate school while Alissa built her career in Philadelphia.

For five years, they navigated 800 miles of distance with 12-hour car rides, FaceTime dinner dates, and weekends split between Philly and Music City. In May 2024, the distance finally closed when Aidan moved back to Philadelphia. They moved in together, and soon after, he led Alissa on a sunset walk toward the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where he proposed in a quiet garden near the top of the steps.

Alissa says she fell in love with Aidan gradually, in the everyday moments. He is charismatic without trying, steady in his kindness, and genuine in every interaction. Years of studying together showed her his consistency and care. A Christmas visit to her family home made everything clear; something shifted, and she knew he was the person she wanted beside her for life. She had always hoped to find someone who treated her with the same respect and warmth she saw in her own family. Aidan met that standard with ease. On their wedding day, more than anything, they look forward to standing face to face and exchanging vows.
