Katie and Devin’s love story began in high school at Gloucester Catholic, where they initially connected through their shared passion for hockey. Their relationship blossomed over the years, revolving around the sport that brought them together. Eight years into their journey, their bond had only grown stronger.

Hockey wasn’t just a shared interest; it was the foundation of their connection. The couple also cherished their summers in Avalon, NJ, enjoying the sun and creating memories. Their dog, Bella, played a significant role in their lives, providing them with warmth and companionship. Another shared love? Pizza.

What made Katie and Devin a great couple was their mutual dedication to hard work and the shared pursuit of their dreams. They constantly pushed and supported each other, finding joy in seeing the other succeed. Staying active and seeking adventure together further fueled their compatibility.

The proposal was a dream come true for Katie. Devin orchestrated a surprise proposal in the high school gym, where their journey began. The aisle of rose petals leading to him added a touch of romance. After saying “yes,” they walked through the school, revisiting places that held special significance in their relationship.

Katie’s reaction to the proposal was pure surprise. She had thought they were going to Gloucester Catholic for a different reason, making Devin’s carefully planned proposal all the more special.

The choice of the proposal location held deep significance as it marked the place where they first met and created countless cherished memories together.
