 We’ll review your style, whether elegant, playful, or romantic and match that with Nemours’ standout locations: the French-château façade, reflecting pool, formal parterres, tree-lined paths, or grand staircases. As the property spans 200 + acres and includes formal gardens and neoclassical architecture, we’ll plan which parts suit your vision best.

Since Nemours features ornate architecture, lush gardens and formal lines, we’ll recommend wardrobe options that complement the site’s flowing dresses or tailored looks that work beautifully in the gardens; elegant layers and clean lines pair well with the mansion’s façade. We’ll also discuss timing (light, seasons, foliage) and logistical details like parking or permits, so you arrive relaxed and ready.

Engagement sessions are 90 minutes and yes, we’ll structure your engagement session to allow for variety: we might start at the mansion’s front stairs, then shift to the reflecting pool, then stroll through the hedged gardens or tree-lined walkways. Because the estate is expansive, we’ll build in travel time between spots and ensure we cover multiple looks without rushing.

We’ll monitor weather and light conditions in advance. If sunlight becomes harsh, we’ll pivot to shaded garden areas, under large trees, or near architectural overhangs. If rain or overcast skies intervene, we’ll adjust timing or pick indoor/outdoor covered areas if available. Our goal: you get beautiful images, whatever the weather.

We’ll use the session at Nemours as a practice run, capturing natural interaction, guiding you through prompts, and giving you one of your first professional couple-shoot experiences in a dramatic setting. By the wedding day, you’ll feel more relaxed in front of the camera, we’ll already know your comfortable angles and the estate’s best backdrops, so your wedding coverage will be smoother and more authentic.
