Meghan and Eric met at a dive bar named "Kung Fu Necktie" on 'hip hop night' after an invitation from friends to go out (for different reasons: Eric's friend got into Columbia for grad school, and Meghan's friend had just moved to Philly). Eric approached Meghan at the bar, and they instantly hit it off. They met the following week again at 'La Costa" in Sea Isle City and spent the whole summer together down the shore and beyond.

Eric loves Meghan's great energy, beauty and easy-going personality; it's always easy and fun to be together and experience new things together. On the other hand, Meghan loves his humor, warm and approachable personality, his caring and kindness to everyone around him and how he always encourages her to be the best version of herself. After meeting for the 2nd time at La Costa, they ended up leaving the bar and talking on the beach until sunrise. This was the moment they found out that they had a lot of similar interests and goals.

The proposal:

Eric pulled off the perfect proposal while they were going for a walk at sunset in Townsend's Inlet. This moment was almost ambushed by a bad thunderstorm rolling through. Thankfully the storm cleared up to reveal not only a beautiful sunset but a double rainbow-a perfect backdrop for a proposal! She said yes, and the special moment was followed by an engagement party with their immediate families right after.
