Washington Square Park

Location Information

The Washington Square Park is my favorite place to shoot in Old City. It’s similar to Rittenhouse Square Park but without the huge crowds. No matter what time of year I come here, there’s always something special about it.

Great light, wide paths and little hidden spots. The city skyline and architecture surrounds you, it’s so tranquil and beautiful.

This park has served a variety of functions for the community over the years, responding to its changing demands. It is recognized for its arch, which honors George Washington, the man for which the park is dedicated. Also, its fountain is 43 years older than the arch and a popular meeting site. In addition, it also has a number of other landmarks and amenities.

"Ralph's ability to make his clients feel like they are #1 at all times is phenomenal! His work speaks for itself, but it is what he does in addition to the pictures that makes the difference. Him and his team went far beyond our expectations and were able to capture not only pictures, but a story of our lives. We would recommend Ralph Deal Photography to anyone who wants an exceptional and personalized experience!"
