Old City

Old City

Location Information

To me, this is the most photographically versatile neighborhood in the entire city. At any given time you’re only a block or two away from historic cobblestone streets, modern architecture, beautiful tree lined parks and the Delaware River with it’s beautiful views. Several of the city’s most popular hotels and wedding venues are located in Old City. It’s romantic and fun, day or night and a highlight for any photo session in Philly.

This now-modern area is well renowned for its main Colonial-era sites, as it was the birthplace of American freedom. Top attractions in the neighborhood include Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, and the Betsy Ross House. Many of the people who live in Old City live in restored 18th-century rowhouses on some of the country’s oldest streets. Along South 2nd Street, there are stylish cafés and bars for fashionable crowds.

Location Address

Various, it’s a large neighborhood.
