Megan and Josh met through mutual friends in high school. They started to get to know each other more in college at Saint Joseph's University, where they would all hang out. Their story started when Megan needed a date for her formal and her friend suggested Josh. They had a fantastic time together and continued talking afterward!
Josh’s ability to make her laugh, even when she doesn't want to, really made her fall in love with him. She knows that she can talk to Josh about anything and everything. He’s the definition of unconditional love. She considers him to be her best friend, and he is always there to help her when she needs a shoulder to lean on. Megan knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Josh fairly early into their relationship. Whenever he visited her during her time at college, she loved spending time with him!
Josh fell in love with Megan because of her caring nature. They always have a good time together, no matter what they’re doing. She's always been fun to be around since they first met. And since then, she’s only given him more reasons on why he wants to marry her!
Josh proposed at Washington Square Park in Philadelphia. As they were approaching the park, he started to bring up marriage and spending forever together. While they were walking by an old church in Old City, she looked at him and said just to get married now and run up the church steps.
But he turned around and got down on one knee, which she thought was part of the act. Josh took a deep breath and opened his hand, revealing a beautiful ring. “Oh my god, that’s a real ring!” she said and followed by a quick “Yes!” They had dinner at Tulua’s Garden and met up with friends and family at a nearby bar.
Josh and Megan were married in July 2020 at the Church of the Incarnation at E Venango St, North Philadelphia.
