Hammonton Engagement Photoshoot | Lindsey & Matt

Lindsey and Matt’s love story began with a swipe. A simple right-swipe on Hinge, led by a spark of curiosity-and perhaps a momentary lapse in reading comprehension. Lindsey didn’t catch the part about Matt’s two dogs at first, but fate (and a well-maintained beard) had already set things in motion. What started as a casual match turned into a bond that grew deeper over time, complete with a “practice round” in 2022 before they officially began dating in June 2023.

From the start, they found joy in the little things: cheering on their favorite teams, discovering new restaurants, and curating the perfect brewery and winery lists. But beyond their shared interests, what truly made them work was their ability to balance each other. Communication was the foundation of their relationship-nothing left unsaid, no emotions bottled up. When one needed support, the other stepped up. And through it all, they laughed. Whether dancing at weddings or hosting their closest friends and family, they created a life that felt like a celebration.

And then came the moment that sealed their forever.

The Proposal:

It was a Sunday afternoon at Autumn Lake Winery, an outing like any other-at least to Lindsey. Matt, ever the planner, had something far bigger in mind. He played it cool, mentioning he had always wanted to see a vineyard. As they strolled by the vines and the lake, he handed Lindsey two Taylor Swift friendship bracelets, knowing exactly how to make her heart skip a beat. One of them read, “Will u marry me.”

The world blurred for a moment. A complete surprise. The night before, Lindsey had even laughed, dismissing the idea: “It’s not like he’s going to propose tomorrow.” Yet here they were. The man who had swiped first, the one who met her at every turn with love and laughter, was down on one knee.

Their story is built on laughter, love, and the kind of partnership where even in the most unexpected moments, everything falls into place. And just like that, Lindsey said yes-to a lifetime of Sunday afternoons, sports games, winery visits, and a love that never stops growing.
