Before their Arts Ballroom wedding, Sara and Mat were matched on Hinge in October of 2018. They had their first date in the same year at a sushi restaurant and cocktail bar in NYC.
Mat fell in love with her because he thought Sara was beautiful and talkative and connected with her a lot. Sara thought Mat was handsome and loved his multi-faceted personality, which made her feel comfortable. Over time, they both realized that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with each other and the pandemic definitely helped.Â
The Proposal:
Mat proposed on a Saturday morning in the apartment with a ring pop. It was very private, emotional, and nice. This adorable couple is looking forward to celebrating with all their close family and friends as they have all been a part of their lives for a while.
