Since 1977, the Perkins Center for the Arts has served southern New Jersey and beyond as a regional arts center. Perkins is based in Moorestown, New Jersey, in a 1910 historic Tudor residence and carriage building, as well as Collingswood, New Jersey, in a former printing mill.
The Perkins Center is a Major Presenting Organization providing free and fee-based arts programs that foster involvement, understanding, and communication among various audiences, according to the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
The manicured lawn, rustic carriage house, and period architecture lend a romantic quality to every frame—especially in spring and fall, when the foliage adds extra texture and colour. Quiet and accessible, it’s ideal for couples looking for a relaxed, scenic session just outside the city.
The location’s artistic roots make it especially fitting for creative couples, and the surrounding neighborhood offers quiet streets and colonial charm that photograph beautifully in both candid and posed moments.
