Romantic Old City Engagement Photoshoot| Arielle and Andrew

Andrew and Arielle's love story was nothing short of serendipitous. It all started on October 3rd, 2021, when the two mothers, Lisa and Marjorie, were playing pickleball together. Arielle joined the pickleball ladies for an outing to the comedy show when she was in town visiting and that's when Lisa demanded that Ari meet Andrew. Lisa saw the spark between her son, Andrew, and Arielle, and she just had to bring them together and were able to exchange phone numbers during their first meeting. Although they lived in different cities, Andrew's persistence knew no bounds.

The holidays brought them together once again, this time with their families, playing games and pickleball. Arielle couldn't resist Andrew's charm and decided to spend New Year's Eve with him. And, just like that, they officially started dating in January 2022.

Ari and Andrew shared many interests, including playing codenames and pickleball, exploring new cities, trying out new restaurants, and visiting wineries and breweries. Andrew even taught Ari to appreciate different types of beer. They both valued their families and made each other a priority. Andrew was extremely understanding and patient, and they wanted what was best for each other. Ari thought that Andrew was the best possible man for her.

The Proposal:

In March 2022, Andrew proposed to Ari during a trip to Asheville at her childhood home in Wheeling, WV. They had come to visit Ari's twin sister, Tani, who had just had a baby, and Ari's parents, Jon and Marjorie, had invited a group of family members to spend the weekend together.

The proposal was a complete surprise to Ari, who thought she had picked up on the clues, but Andrew had managed to keep it a secret. After a family game night, Andrew got down on one knee in front of all the family members and proposed.

The reaction to the proposal was emotional, with everyone in the room crying tears of joy. Andrew was nervous, but Ari thought he was adorable, even though he looked awkward. The proposal was a surprise to Ari. However, by the day before, she had started to suspect that something was up, given all the clues her family members had dropped. The proposal took place at Ari's childhood home in West Virginia, surrounded by her family, making it a very special and significant moment for both of them.
