DIY Wedding | Katie and Steve

If Katie and Steve had a coat of arms, their motto would be "Do-It-Yourself and Party Hearty!!" The couple put together a beautiful DIY Wedding at the bride's grandfather's farm in Williamstown, New Jersey. I knew from the time when we got together for their engagement session that this wedding would be the perfect mix of a raging celebration with beautiful, emotional moments.

The evening ceremony included Katie's party of a matron and maid of honor accompanied by four bridesmaids. Steve had his brothers as his two best men and another eight groomsmen. The wedding party also included a sibling trio of two flower girls and their brother, who was the ring-bearer. The beautiful bride walked down the aisle with her father among the assembled family and friends in a secluded grassy area surrounded by trees and a beautiful sunset.

Katie wore a ballroom wedding dress that she found at Bridals by Cyndi from Justin Alexander's Signature Collection. A bodice featuring lace flowers topped the beautiful tulle skirt, and the delicate lace flower pattern continued down the gown's striking long sleeves. Steve complemented the bride's dramatic dress with a dapper black tuxedo with a white vest from Michael Khors.

After a brief but heart-felt ceremony, the company moved onto a delicious buffet dinner under a tent, followed by hysterical and loving speeches by the couple's nearest and dearest. And then the dancing began! The traditional father-daughter and mother-son dances were tender, and the bride and groom melted into each other's arms.
These two requests sum up Katie and Steve perfectly:
1)Beware of the dance floor. It will be full of amazing moments with this guest list!
2)All I care about is great/funny pictures of all my friends and family dancing like fools :)!
The goal was achieved! What a night...congrats to Katie and Steve!!
