Cairnwood Estate Wedding | Maria and Sean

I've learned to never pay attention to a weather forecast until the day before a wedding. We've all gotten burned enough times by the weather people, haven't we?
You know how it goes, they'll claim that the storm of the century is approaching and then it turns out to be a wonderful day! Well, to be fair, they are correct sometimes and for Maria and Sean's Cairnwood Estate Wedding, they were right on the money!

It was a scorching, muggy 96 degrees at Cairnwood Estate when I arrived. The estate is a national historic landmark constructed in 1895 and has a wonderful, classic, movie- like vibe to it. Thankfully, the estates air conditioning helped us to forget what we would eventually be heading back into later in the day!
Maria and Sean decided not to see each other before the ceremony and instead wait until she walked down the aisle at St. Pauls Roman Catholic Church in Princeton, NJ. It was a beautiful ceremony lead by one of the most passionate officiants I've seen...very inspiring!

After the ceremony and family photos, we heading back to Cairnwood Estate for photos with the bridal party and bride/groom. At this point the heat index was an off the charts 101 degrees and it felt like it! We worked with the bridal party first and then walked the gorgeous grounds with Maria and Sean until it was time to head into the reception. Many thanks to the bridal party, especially the kids, who hung in there while we took their photos...I know it wasn't easy!

We finished the evening listening to some beautiful words spoken about Maria and Sean by their friends and family. Maria's Dad even sang! Mike Scott followed that by getting the party turned up several notches which apparently, lasted long after I left!
Congrats to Maria, Sean and their families!!!
